Get to Know Me: A little Q&A
I started this Hamptons blog because I love discovering the charm, style, and hidden gems of the East End! Whether it’s beach days or happy hour spots, we each bring our own spin. I thought it’d be fun to share a little Q&A so you can get to know me better
Favorite Hamptons restaurant—the one you keep going back to? What makes it a standout, and what’s your go-to order?
Elaia in Bridgehampton, no matter the season. Everything I’ve ever gotten there has been fantastic – and there’s nothing better than their “Opa” happy hour with oysters and martinis
Favorite Hamptons Beach
Coopers Beach is a classic, but feels cliche to just give that one. I also actually really love Ponquogue beach – it’s got a great beach, nice amenities, and near restaurants to grab food or an iced coffee on the way!
Favorite non-beach activity in the Hamptons (something I always recommend to visitors)
There are so many off the beaten path beach and walking areas on the bay as well. I love taking out my map and picking a spot on the water I have never been to before and exploring it with my dog. Also, there are many The Nature Conservancy spots to explore. Last summer I printed a TNC map of the Hamptons and explored nearly all of them (Scallop Pond Preserve, Sagg Swamp Preserve, Long Pond Greenbelt). Highly recommend –> Find a preserve near you with our interactive map.

What’s fun about the Hamptons is that each town is so cute, walkable, and unique, that I love to spend the day with my guests giving a ‘tour de Hamptons’- walking around each town, popping in shops, and maybe even grabbing a quite drink at one of our local wineries
Favorite scenic walking route or trail in the Hamptons? What makes it special?
For trails, I actually love hopping on the ferry over to Shelter Island (it’s maybe a 5 minute ferry) and hiking in Mashomack Preserves. For a ‘hot girl walk’ (is that still ‘cool’ to say?) I love to just pick a town and walk around their main streets – Southampton and Westhampton are my favorites
Favorite Hamptons town to explore, and why
Sag Harbor will always have my heart – we used to live in Sag and it’s just got such a fun, laid back, coastal vibe that dates back to its time as a whaling community. There’s nothing better than grabbing a coffee at Sagtown and then watching all the boats (ahem, yachts) go in and out of the marina
Go-to breakfast spot in the Hamptons
R: I’ve eaten the Mexican Breakfast Tacos from Hamptons Coffee Water Mill literally 100 times. After that, since a Goldberg’s just opened up in Water Mill, I am loving the classic New Yorker.

I’m also not the biggest breakfast person – but absolutely obsessed with coffee, so I’ll drop a few of those! Love Sagtown (Sag Harbor), One Trick Pony (Westhampton), and then any Hampton Coffee.

Favorite date night restaurant or experience in the Hamptons?
For date night, we’re classic – we love dinner and a movie. A typical night would be Lulu’s and then heading to Sag Harbor theater, or the Patio and then Westhamptons’ newest Sunset Theater. For experience – I vote our wineries (Wolffer winestand is favorite) or renting a boat and getting out on the water.

Go-to takeout or delivery spot in the Hamptons when you’re staying in?
For sushi, I often get Showwin in Southampton delivered, or we’ll get pizza from one of the local spots – Francesca’s in Hampton Bays is great delivered.
Favorite workout class or fitness studio in the Hamptons—and what keeps you coming back?
L: I’m a runner, so I usually love to just get outside and run vs a studio, or I’ll do an at-home video (I use the Sweat app) if the weather isn’t good. But I am a big fan of Sculpt by Emily Tyson in Hampton Bays – a fantastic workout that is unique but affordable.
