The 5 Best Farmstands in the Hamptons: Fresh Produce, Baked Goods & Local Flowers (2025 Guide)

Whether you’re after organic veggies, gorgeous flowers, or just an excuse to grab a pie “for the house,” these Hamptons farmstands are as delightful as they are delicious. I’m talking local heirloom tomatoes, fresh-baked muffins, tractor-to-table produce, and bouquets worthy of your tablescape.

Yellow Barn Farm – Water Mill

1. Halsey Farmstand – Water Mill

A true Hamptons staple. Expect an overflowing bounty from both Halsey Farm and neighboring Long Island growers. They carry a mix of local and regional goods (some produce, like bananas and avocados, are brought in), but the friendly team is happy to point you to what’s grown nearby.

Don’t Miss:

  • Pre-arranged local flower bouquets ($12–$25)—our go-to for easy table styling and last minute guests
  • Local items: Romanesco cauliflower, fresh lacinato kale, golden beets (just peeled & boiled with some salt and EVOO, chef’s kiss), lettuces, heirloom tomatoes, breakfast radishes (for your French baguette & butter), purple radishes, string beans, mushrooms, extra sweet corn
  • Artisanal cheeses (from Mecox Dairy), fresh mozzarella (the kind that is not refrigerated)

2. The Green Thumb Organic Farm – Water Mill

This certified organic farmstand is ultra-charming and fully transparent—everything from their own farm is clearly labeled. With lesser-seen veggies and impeccable quality, it’s a go-to for chefs and produce lovers alike.

Don’t Miss:

  • Purple sprouting broccoli, red okra, specialty fresh beans

3. Seven Ponds Orchard – Water Mill

This spot is all about the baked goods—and yes, there’s also a cute kids’ playground right next door, making it a hit for families. Still produce-forward, but worth the visit for sweet treats alone.

Don’t Miss:

  • Banana bread (legendary), banana chocolate chip bread, zucchini bread, carrot zucchini bread, ok all the breads
  • Homemade pies (seasonal favorites)

4. Fairview Farm at Mecox – Bridgehampton

If you’re looking for the best pies in the Hamptons, this is it. Fairview Farm is known for its rustic charm and next-level baked goods. With produce shopping al fresco and specialty items indoors.

Don’t Miss:

  • Black & Blue Pie (blueberry + blackberry—local legend status)
  • Oatmeal raisin and peanut butter cookies (homemade, chunky chewy, 10 to a box). Scared to know how many boxes of these we have purchased over the years.
  • The CROUTONS. Homemade. Take your salads to the next level. Trust us.

5. Yellow Barn Farm – Water Mill

Similar in selection to the above but we have this farm on the list because the interior is simply STUNNING.
